Old links still point at it
Bookmarks, forum posts and embedded links from years ago still say adf.ly, and they now land on Linkvertise. Most people searching for AdFly are holding one of those links or reading a list nobody updated.
AdFly
AdFly shut down in May 2023. Linkvertise bought it, migrated the accounts, and adf.ly has redirected to linkvertise.com since. Any list that still offers AdFly as an option is out of date, and the only useful question left is what to use instead.
| Status | Discontinued. adf.ly redirects to linkvertise.com, and the separate adfly.com domain is an unrelated parked site. |
|---|---|
| When it ended | May 2023. Linkvertise announced the acquisition in November 2022 and ran the migration through to mid-2023. |
| What it paid | Per view, with a $5 minimum, paid by PayPal or Payoneer, as its archived homepage stated. |
| Archived advertiser rates | On its 2014 rate card: $5.00 per 1000 US views, falling to $1.00 for the rest of the world. |
| What replaced it | Linkvertise, which took the traffic and the accounts. |

Pay-per-view ad pages never went away, they moved into other shorteners and lockers. What did change is that a publisher can now take a real payment instead of an ad impression.
Several comparison pages still present AdFly as a live option, which is how a dead product keeps its search volume. This page exists to be the one that says otherwise.
One page per thing you sell, served from a portal domain you can point at your own domain. A sponsored offer and a card payment sit side by side, and what is handed over on completion is a Discord role with an expiry, a key, or a call to your own server. Nothing up front and nothing monthly: you keep 75% of every sale, the card processor's fee comes off first, and the 25% platform fee is taken when you withdraw. There is no payment account to connect.
It is not the right answer for every job on this page, which is why the section above exists. The full comparison covers how each tool differs, and the Discord guide covers what selling access to a server actually involves.
No. adf.ly has redirected to linkvertise.com since May 2023, after Linkvertise acquired it and migrated the accounts. The adfly.com domain is a different, unrelated site and should not be confused with it.
They now go wherever Linkvertise sends them, which means they no longer pay you per view. If the content behind them still matters, publishing a gate of your own and updating the links that still get traffic is the clean fix.
For revenue per view on public links, Linkvertise is the direct successor. For selling access to a file, a download or a Discord role, a content locker that takes a card payment and leaves the publisher 75% of each sale is a different and usually better deal.
Because people still search for it, and most of what they find was written before the shutdown. Saying plainly that it is closed, and what the options are now, is more useful than comparing features that no longer exist.
Create a portal, put it in front of the thing worth paying for, and run the whole flow in a test session before any member sees a link.
